Website Backups is run by Serian Technologies. It uploads weekly backups of a website to the Google Drive of the site's owner.
What we access
We ask Google for one permission: to create and manage files that Website Backups itself creates in your Drive (the drive.file scope). We cannot see, open, list, or change any other file in your Drive. We also receive the email address of the Google account you connect, so the site's settings can show which account backups go to.
What we store
We store the Google access token that lets the backup job upload files, encrypted, in the website's own database. We never sell it, share it, or use it for anything except uploading that website's backups.
What is uploaded
The backup files for your website: its code, and an export of its data, which can include your customers' names, email addresses, and booking or order details. They go only to the folder we create in your Drive.
Stopping
You can disconnect at any time from your website's settings, or by removing "Website Backups" at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Backups already in your Drive stay there and remain yours.
Google API Services
Website Backups' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
